More Fundraising!

FUNDRAISER...The club needs parent and wrestler volunteers to clean up after the Legend of Rawhide cast dinners Thursday, Friday, and, Saturday (July 13, 14, 15th).  Cleanup will begin at 7:00 p.m.  in the Fairgrounds main building. PLEASE let me know ASAP if you can help (even if you can only help one night- we will need the most help on Saturday).  The more help we have, the faster we can finish!

Fundraising proceeds help cover registration fees for the WAWA State USA tournament in April, team equipment and gear, discounted tournament fees, registration scholarships, and summer wrestling camps!

USA State Tournament- Casper

USA State Wrestling is April 13-16. Friday is Folkstyle, Freestyle is Saturday, and Greco is on Sunday.  I will register our kids on Thursday night THIS WEEK(4/6).  Deadline for State registration is April 9th. The club will take care of the registration fees!  Photos need to be uploaded on the USA wrestling website.  We will have practice from 6:00-7:30 on Thursday (4/6).  

We will have practice on Tuesday (4/11) and Wednesday(4/12) next week.  Wednesday is our last practice!

If your wrestler is done for the season, please return gear to the school.  Checks for singlets will be shredded when singlets are returned.  Cash deposits will be mailed to the address we have on file.

Make sure you are ON TIME for practice!  We may not be able to let you in!

Glenrock Tournament

Glenrock is this weekend. Friday is Freesttyle and Saturday is Folkstyle and Greco.  We will do our weigh ins on Thursday night.  We will have practice from 6:00-7:30 on Tuesday and Thursday.

We have one coach going to Crawford, NE on Saturday and at least 2 going to Casper, WY on Sunday.  Looking ahead at the weather, we will do our weigh ins on Tuesday night.  Please let me know ASAP which tournament you will be attending!  

Crawford will be the last available tournament for our Pre-K kids and this Friday will be the LAST practice for our little guys!  Please leave gear in the large tote for gear check in.  Checks for singlets will be shredded when singlets are returned.  Cash deposits will be mailed to the address we have on file.

Coaches will be going to Mitchell, NE on Sunday, February 5th.  If your wrestler plans on competing, they will need, shoes, headgear, and a singlet.

Practices canceled this week! No tournament this weekend.

Due to the weather, coaches have decided to CANCEL practices for tonight and Friday and will NOT be traveling to Chadron on Saturday.  Be safe out there!!  See you Tuesday! 

Chadron Tournament

 Coaches will be going to Chadron, NE on Saturday, January 28th.  If your wrestler plans on competing, they will need, shoes, headgear, and a singlet.

I will be at practice on Thursday with singlets to check out for the tournament if you need one.  If you have not paid the refundable deposit for a singlet, the cost is $50.

Coaches will be going to Moorcroft on Sunday, January 22nd.  If your wrestler plans on competing, they will need, shoes, headgear, and a singlet.

Session 1: (Check-in/Skin Check 7:30-8:00) PeeWee, 6U, 8U and 16U--Start time @ 9:00

Session 2:  (Check-in/Skin Check 10:30-11:00) 10U, 12U, 14U--Start time 30 minutes after 1st session ends

Photos need to be added to USA cards!

Attention wrestling parents!!!  Just about all USA membership cards have been processed.  Everyone must create an account on the USA wrestling website and "claim a membership" by searching for your wrestler by name and birthdate.  Once you "claim their membership", you will need to add a picture to their profile before you are allowed to print their USA Card.  This youtube video will help you on adding the photo to their profile after you have created the account and claimed the membership.  This is the first year we are having parents print their own cards!  Thanks!

Torrington Tournament

Coaches will be going to Torrington on Sunday, January 15th.  If your wrestler plans on competing, they will need, shoes, headgear, and a singlet.

Lusk Rawhide Wrestling Gear Check Out/Registration Day!

TUESDAY, January 3rd, 2023 

@LEMS Commons 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Registration fee is $60.  

 Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate if your child is a first time Rawhide wrestler. 

We will be checking out shoes and headgear on January 3rd. No fee is required for these. 

Registration paperwork and fees can be turned in at any time before the registration day.

Tuesday- "A" practice - 6:00-7:30

Thursday- "A" practice - 6:00-7:30 -LAST PRACTICE...unless your wrestler plans on attending the state tournament April 13-16th.  WEIGH-INS for Wheatland will be during practice on Thursday.  The $25 fee per style is due at that time.  If your wrestler is competing in all 3 styles, the fee is $60.  The flier for Wheatland is at the bottom of this post.

Friday- "B" practice - 5:30-6:30 LAST PRACTICE!

State practice begins Tuesday and Thursday next week.  Click the "Practice Schedule" tab for an UPDATED calendar!

There will be a box/tote for checked out wrestling gear if you would like to turn it in Thursday or Friday. It will be downstairs by the wrestling room.  Gear can also be brought to the elementary school office.

Singlet deposit checks will be shredded upon return of the singlet.  All other deposits will be issued by check.

Check-ins have changed from 7:30-8:30 for the morning session for both days (March 26 and 27)

Check-ins for the 2nd session on March 26th will be from 10:30-11:30.

March 14-19 and Glenrock

Group A practice- Tuesday 6:00-7:30

Group A practice- Thursday 6:00-7:30

Group B practice- Friday 5:30-6:30

This is the flier for the tournament in Glenrock this weekend.  Freestyle is on Friday and Folkstyle and Greco is on Saturday.  If you plan on attending, your wrestler must by weighed at  practice on TUESDAY or THURSDAY!  The $25 fee per style per wrestler is due to the club at that time.  The online registration will be done by the club.
